Kitchen Aura started as a family-inspired business built from a genuine love of cooking, home kitchens and Asian cuisine. I’m Setti, the founder, and my passion for cooking began when I was younger, inspired by my mum, Spud, who showed me how powerful food can be in bringing family, culture and memories together. Over time, I learned that great cooking is not just about ingredients it is also about having the right utensils, tools and accessories to make the process easier, smoother and more enjoyable.

meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Setti, the founder of Kitchen Aura. I am 24 years old and from a young age cooking has become far more than just a passion for me, it has become a way of life, a craft, and the inspiration behind this business.

My love for food began when I was growing up in Hong Kong, surrounded by the colours, aromas and traditions of Asian cuisine. From a young age, I was inspired by my mum, Spud, who introduced me to the heart of cooking. Watching her prepare food taught me that cooking is not simply about putting ingredients together, it is about care, patience, flavour, culture and creating something that brings people together.

Today, I am proud to work as a chef, currently cooking at one of Hong Kong’s most prestigious eateries. Being in a professional kitchen has deepened my respect for the craft even more. Every day, I see how much detail goes into creating great food, from preparation and timing to texture, balance and presentation. Cooking at this level has taught me that the right tools are not optional; they are essential.

One of the biggest lessons I have learned is that utensils and kitchen tools can completely change the cooking experience. The right knife, pan, utensil or preparation tool can improve consistency, enhance flavour, protect ingredients and help bring out the best in every dish. When you cook with the correct tools, everything becomes smoother , the preparation feels easier, the food cooks better, and the final result tastes and looks more refined.

I started Kitchen Aura because of my genuine love for cooking and my desire to share that passion with others. I want to help people feel more confident, inspired and excited in their own kitchens, whether they are cooking traditional family dishes, exploring Asian cuisine or simply preparing everyday meals at home.

For me, Kitchen Aura is not just a store. It is built from family, culture, experience and a real enthusiasm for food. My goal is to provide practical, reliable and carefully chosen kitchen essentials that help people enjoy cooking more and create better food with the right tools by their side.
